I Workout Because.....

Hello My Lovely Ladies!!

I got my workout clothes from Foreve 21+. I've been having it for a while and i've been wanting t post it but never got a chance to.  I do have to admit that at the beginning I  wasn't too impressed with their plus size workout gear but they were doing so much better compared to other active wear lines at the time. They have gotten soo much better and have cute/trendy pieces that I actually look forward to wearing to the gym!! Although I do need their plus size looked workout section to look just as trendy as their straight sizes section does, but i guess greatness takes time and I will keep working to find you ladies cute/trendy workout gear! I MEAN WHO DOESNT WANT TO LOOK LIKE A BADASS AT THE GYM?!? Ive also noticed that theyve had the same exact workout clothes since forever!! WE NEED NEW ITEMS!!

I truly hope you ladies liked this outfit as much as I did!

I absolutely love graphic tees! only because i feel like they go with everything! You can dress then up or down or middle? Any-who this is a graphic Tee from @lovesickfashion. I originally was going to buy it as a t-shirt but i decided it would be so much cooler to wear it as a dress! I mean how often do you see simple/oversize graphic dresses?!? Like almost NEVER right? I got this shirt in a size 4X, and i was worried that it wouldn't be long enough to wear as dress or too wide, but thankfully it fit perfectly! The Perfect Sun Dress

Hello Ladies!!

I was on the hunt for a nice bight colored dress (specifically a yellow one) for a while now, and as most of my SNAP FAM saw, I went to a friends Bridal Shower yesterday. The day before the Bridal Shower I had a job interview near one of my favorite malls so i decided to stop by and "check it out". Usually when i have something in mind that i want to wear i would say 90% of the time I never find exactly what i'm looking for. I went to H&M and surprisingly I didn't buy one single thing. I went one to Forever 21 and afters and hour or so of not finding anything nice to wear I spotted something yellow deep in a pile of clothes and I pulled it out and it was exactly what I was looking for!!! A yellow skater dress and the fit was amazing! As the cool people say " It fit me like a glove". I got many compliments on it and also on the body chain I wore it with! I got the bodychain from Forever 21 but Unfortunately they don't have it online but I did find a similar one!

Hello Fashionistas!!

Today's post is going to be all about cosmetics!! and if you haven't guest it yet its specifically about IT COSMETICS!!! lol

Here's a little sorta sad story about how i started my beautiful journey;

I turned 27 years this year! :( I was pretty ok with that even though most of my friends called me a granny only because Im a couple weeks older than them. It was a day like any other, a beautiful Monday morning to be exact. Birds were chirping, rooster were crowing, and the sun was as bright as can be, I did my usual morning routine, brushed my teeth, brushed me hair and that's when it happened!........I discovered my first silver hair! I cried and whispered to myself "its all down hill from here". That silver strand of hair killed my entire mood for the rest of the week and got into panic mode!! I panic!! (i know i mentioned that already but needed to mention it again so y'all know how much I panicked) decided to start taking extra care of my body, starting with my skin!

I've never really been a fan of heavy make up, but I had been wearing more than the usual the past couple of months (which my skin wasn't too happy about). I knew that all the make up probably wasn't going to be good for my skin, so i was on a hunt for an amazing moisturizer and foundation. I went to Sephora and told them the entire story lol (they loved it FYI) so one of the sales rep gave me a ton of make up samples and face moisturizing samples, but nothing really targeted anti-aging and went well with my skin. IT Cosmetics sent me an email around the same time asking me if they could send me some of their foundation for me to try. As all my #SNAPFAM know they came through for me!!

I love that all their products are meant to help your skin. When I wear their products i dont mind wearing it all day, when i wear other stuff I take my make up off ASAP. My mind feels a bid more at ease knowing that Im using products that slow down the aging process and that look amazing on! I feel so confidant wearing ALL their products. I 100% recommend their products!!!

Hello My Lovely Fashionistas!!

I've had this skirt for a while from Fashion to Figure. It's so beautiful and such great fabric! Unfortunately they have sold out of this skirt! Wack! I wanted to actually wear it somewhere nice but nothing has come up for me to Be able to wear to! So I decided to wear it on Mother's Day! I was gonna get super creative with how I shot this outfit.....tthen my camera died!! Grr! THEY don't want you to get creative with your shoot man!! Lol so this is the only picture we were able to shoot before my camera died! I will be re-shooting this and will  do a " 3 ways to wear" it! The bandeau I have on was a plus size one fits all (which clearly looks too big on me) so I'm on the hunt for a straight size one! It'll look better! Hello My Loves!!

I got these denim pants a while back from Fashion To Figure! Like months ago! and i have to say they are my favorite pair of pants! I have worn them for interviews, dates, casual errand runs, etc. Reason why they are my favorite pair of pants:

1. THEY HAVE POCKETS!!

How many plus size skinny jeans do you own that have no back pocket or front pocket?! That drives me insane!! Liiiiiike where am I suppose to put my phone?!? lol

2. Thickness and Stretchy

I love the fact that they are a thick pair of pants but have a good amount of stretch.  Usually when a pair of pants is "stretchy" they stretch out too much and I end up looking like one off the little Homies Toys lol it does not look cute on me.

3. They are semi high waisted

Im pear shaped! Meaning my waist is a lot smaller than my hips! So its hard to find pants that actually fit my butt and my waist. Usually pants fit me from my hips but are to loose on my waist i have no issue with these pants!

Back at it again with the Blogging!! lol

Hey Dolls! Last time i posted on here was back in OCTOBER!!

i know its been a while but i thought id switch over to Vlogging. It seemed like a good idea at first but there are some thing I want to talk and elaborate more about that are just too small for an entire video and too big for an Instagram post so i decided to do all three! lol

I love coming on here and be able to write and talk to you guys while wearing my granny panties and the dreadlocks i have made on my hair from not washing it for days (curly hair problems)! So from now on ill be on here posting outfit details with links for you lovely ladies and some gents!

Yeezy! Thus far ive liked some of the pieces from his collection but nothing really called out to me (even if it did i still wouldnt be able to afford it nor would i want to spend that much money on a pair of boots) like these boots Kim K posted on her IG:

The weirdest part of it all is that I'm not really a boot type of gal! i just feel like they don't go with me and its really hard to find a pair that i like BUT THESE!!!.....I fell in love. I looked at them for days! screenshot this and looked it all the time! lol so sad...........I had to reason to live (jk) Uuuuuuntil i came across this online boutique called SIMMI Shoes which was the first boutique that carried soooo many unique boots and I liked almost all of them!! I was thinking about purchasing these other ankle boots that almost looked the the Yeezy Boots but for some reason I didn't fall in love with them enough to purchase them.......because you have to fall in love first lol 

A couple weeks went by and they posted these:

By the time time i had realized they had these, they sold out! :(

A couple of weeks passed.....AGAIN!! and they restocked for pre-order......and by the time I saw the post they had sold out of my size again!!!!! I asked if they would restock again and they said they would........so being the smart and very determined woman that I am, I turned on the notification post to their IG so i wouldn't miss it next time they posted. I didn't know how long that would take so I gave up and realized it was just not meant to be.

Two days after I had given up on life (jk) I noticed a similar online boutique called PUBLIC DESIRE that carried almost the exact same shoes, so I went on their website.....and guess what i found?!?!?! I found both these pairs and they had my size (its pre-order but still) and they had one left in my size!!! I ordered them and as I was paying my card was declined -__- It was one of those fraud protection crap that they seem to only do when my life is on the line (at least it feels that way)!! I called told them i had made all the transactions on my card.....they cleared me so i went back to purchase my boots! As I was getting ready to pay my discount code wasn't working!!! GRRRRRR!!! I literally had the same reaction Kristen Wig had when her best friend announced she was engaged in the movie BRIDESMAIDS:

I ended up trying it on my Ipad and it worked!! They wont ship out until May 15th and then it'll take a couple of days for them to get home from London but i cant wait!! I have already have an outfit in mind for the clear boots, now i just have to figure out something for the black boots!......but i do have an entire both to figure it out so I'm not worried!! lol

I bought this Skirt from H&M and fell in love with it!! Its across between neon yellow/ neon green lol I'm not sure what it is but I loved the bright color! So Perfect for Summer!! I had a tad of a hard time trying to figure out what to wear it with. I first wanted to wear It with a royal blue and white flower button up but I wanted to keep it super simple. I love color blocking!! I Love mixing colors and print! I went with this right teal/royal blue crop top and for my heels I wanted a color that would compliment the blue and neon skirt. So with purple I went! I love these color on the pink wall also!! if this isn't the perfect summer pic outfit idk what is! lol

Wore this outfit to a friends Birthday! I wasn't in the mood to wear something tight so I decided to wear these joggers. Of course I needed to find a way to dress these up and what better then a button down! This shirt is perfect because its dressy but not to dress, plus the pattern on the top added some sass to it! I felt that my outfit needed some colors so I added my favorite red pumps!

Be Your Own Cheerleader: What facial feature I love about myself

Hello Lovers!!

Reason why I staretd the " What you love about yourself" movement is because sometimes you need to remind yourself how pretty you are and what you love about yourself.

I'm the youngest of 7! ( mom is the real MVP) I grew up being bullied by my older brothers and sisters. I grew up having to hear everything I wasn't or everything that was wrong with me. My parents never once gave me a compliment never really bothered to make me feel special... My mother was all about tough love and dad well, I never really had much of a relationship with him. Instead of having my confidence build, they destroyed it, and for the longest time I felt ugly.........like not just physically but mentally, and emotionally.

I went on believing that i was the ugliest person in the world for a very long time. When I was younger I was promiscuous, a guy would say something nice to me and I would be easily fooled. All that lead to many heartbreaks, many regrets, many tears.

I fell in love with a guy who i thought at the time was way out of my league, but he gave me the attention I never had ( well when he wanted to) and would tell me how pretty I was so I stuck around and I would rely on him to feel good about myself.  of course He was careless with my heart and totally took advantage of me (he knew how insecure I was) for many years and I allowed him to do so because at the time I felt like I couldn't do better. At the end he was a complete waste of time and he destroyed me even more!

The reason behind this post is because I want you ladies not to depend on peoples acceptance or rely on others to make you feel pretty or good about yourself, I want you to realize your own beauty. Reason why I do these posts. I have my days too! There are times when random things trigger the old Roxy and I become the insecure person I used to be, and I cry and I feel horrible about myself. Its the worst feeling anyone can feel. And I want to be the one to give your self esteem a little boost of self all while having you compliment yourself! I stare at myself in the mirror every once in a while and I remind myself that I'm the SHIT! and I go out and I act like I'm the shit, I walk like I'm the shit, because I know I'm the shit PERIOD! Don't give others the power to tare you down. You're Fucking Awesome so made sure people treat you that way. Don't depend on people to make you feel good about yourself because no one can properly do that like you can. RELY ON YOURSELF! Stand in front of your mirror and compliment yourself while smiling and you'll see the difference that makes!
